Handball Challenge
Overview
Uplivion Technologies GmbH was a Berlin-based startup, of which I was a founding member. As a company, Uplivion collaborated with the Mathematical Geometry Processing Unit at the Freie Universität Berlin to develop a user-friendly API and intelligent streaming technology. This enabled boxed console and PC games to seamlessly run within web browsers.
We worked with Neutron Games GmbH and Exozet Games GmbH to host their games in the cloud and stream their back catalogue of games to the web browser. The business idea was that users could instantly access and play these games with a single click, eliminating the need for time-consuming downloads.
Uplivion won first prize in the Businessplan-Wettbewerbs Berlin-Brandenburg (Berlin-Brandenburg Business Plan Competition).
